After researching public transportation in Cincinnati, I concluded that users could benefit from a consolidated experience combining local bus tips, maps, and directions. The application would be regionally customized to each city's public bus system and could function as an extension of Apple Maps.

To fully understand the pain points, I rode the bus with a first time user. She read a how-to guide on the Cincinnati Metro website and used Google maps to roughly plan her route. While the user was able to reach her destination the experience was disjointed and some tasks were unapproachable and confusing.

To encourage people to use the bus a first time experience should be easy and comfortable. Hailey's initial concerns were arriving at her destination but also being able to pay, navigate, and exit the bus while blending in with the other users.

The app's task flow included push notifications and tips to ensure confidence and ease throughout the experience.

The wireframes depict the 5 steps Hailey needs to accomplish to arrive at her destination. The steps are listed and each step opens to show the necessary tasks within it.

Bus Basics needed to be very streamlined and easy to use on the go. The UI is very simple and incorporates some Apple design language as it could be a extension of Apple Maps for each city's metro transportation.
