OBJECTIVE
Work with a team to design the identify for Graphic Communication Design section of DAAPworks Senior Capstone Showcase.
SOLUTION
Designed an entire brand system around the theme of deconstruction.
“For five years now, we’ve each added new layers to our lives. These layers have built us; they’ve given us structure. So for those who wonder what happens within these walls, let’s give them a chance to see what we’re made of. Let’s show them GRCD. Deconstructed.”

We established a system for our branding elements. We used two fonts, Avenir Next and GT Pressura Mono. Our three colors were used to distinguish the three tracks within GRCD. Our photo treatments included black and white and a deconstructed grid. And we used many patterns including grid lines, dots, deconstructed letters and two unique patterns we created.
