I worked on a team with digital designers, Hailey Cook and Kelsey Hisek, to solve a communication problem by implementing a robust creative process. We decided to explore social interaction during temporary relocation by creating a collaborative social kitchen for interns. Our final deliverable was a website allowing members to understand, join, and engage with the community, and participate in planning and cooking meals.

The final brand identity for K+CO is fresh and sophisticated. Like the community and space itself, K+CO can take on a number of definitions. The acronym can stand for Kitchen and Company, Knowledge and Collaboration, Kale and Colanders, or anything the community reflects at the time.

We photographed our classmates and ourselves to develop a style we felt was clean, casual, and fun. To match this aesthetic and preserve quality, we sourced food photography from French Cuisse.

The final site allows the user to host an event, join an event, browse profile pages, send and receive messages, and browse the recipe book.
